  • Will the quality of the cheapest be good enough? 
  • What extras will they want paying for and how will they be valued? 
  • Will they agree a duration for the work?  
  • What happens if they damage your home?

      The builder has started or is about to make a start.

  • Is the workmanship up to standard?   Do you feel confident to know good from bad?
  • Are the materials good quality and correct for the location?
  • Is the order of work undertaken correct to suit the project?
  • Does the work comply with the design?
  • Is it being inspected by the Planning Authority and Building Control at the correct times?
  • Are they using materials or substances that pose a health threat to your family?
